In a focused, fixed-fee project we map your legal operations, identify the bottlenecks costing your team hours every week, and hand you a prioritized roadmap for AI-powered automation — built around your tools, your matters, and your risk tolerance. You leave with a clear plan, defensible recommendations, and an executive readout you can take to leadership.
What's included
Discovery
We start by interviewing the people who actually do the work — partners, associates, paralegals, legal ops, IT — and shadow representative matters end-to-end. The goal is to see where time goes, where errors creep in, where data is duplicated, and where AI can compound rather than just patch a single step.
Most engagements run 1–2 weeks of discovery for a small firm or single department, and 2–4 weeks for larger organizations.
Process mapping
We document current-state and future-state workflows visually — intake, conflicts, matter management, eDiscovery, document review, drafting, billing — so the same map can drive the conversation with leadership, the rollout with practitioners, and the build with engineers later.
AI opportunity assessment
For every candidate workflow we score effort, business impact, data readiness, and risk profile. The output is a short list of opportunities ranked by leverage — what will pay back first, what is foundational for later moves, and what should explicitly be parked.
Roadmap
The roadmap is sequenced into 30/60/90-day moves with clear owners, success metrics, and dependencies. It calls out integration work (LexGo AI, Relativity, Clio, NetDocuments, M365, Google Workspace, MCP servers, custom APIs), the AI Use Policy implications, and the people changes that need to land alongside the technology.
Executive readout
We close with a leadership-ready presentation and a written recommendations document. Both are structured so you can take them straight into a partner meeting, a board conversation, or an internal AI committee — with citations back to the discovery work so the recommendations are defensible.
